Meet the Team

Peter was born in 1960 and raised in Rutherford County, NC by his parents who were both pediatric doctors. He was the middle child of 5 children. He attended high school at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia graduating in 1978. After a semester at the University of North Carolina and a year and one half break from school, he attended Tulane University graduating with a B. A. in 1983. He took another year off from school and attended law school at Wake Forest University graduating with his J.D. in 1987. He practiced for approximately three and a half years in Charlotte, NC before returning to Rutherford County where he began practicing law with A. Jervis Arledge in April 1991 with an emphasis in commercial transactions. He opened up his solo practice May 1, 1997 and has continued to practice in the same location since the inception of his solo practice focusing primarily on real estate transactions. He has three sons and enjoys playing golf and visiting his family property in Yancey County, NC.
